Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSEANF) (A&F) is an American clothing retailer sold as a lifestyle brand. The company has four brands: the Abercrombie & Fitch brand, abercrombie kids, Hollister Co., and Gilly Hicks. The company also had another brand called RUEHL No.925 which closed in January 2010. Stores operate in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Italy, France, Denmark, and Japan. It was founded by David Abercrombie and Ezra H. Fitch.[5] Abercrombie & Fitch was created in 1892. In this year, David Abercrombie opened the first store in New York City.
