Akalla

urban district in Stockholm, Sweden

Akalla is a district of Sweden, west of Stockholm.[1] About 9,100 people live in Akalla, from many different countries and cultures.[2] The type of houses in Akalla are mostly high rises, and terraced houses. In the centre of Akalla there are restaurants, stores, schools, and pre-schools.

There are four primary schools in Akalla, the most important are Oxhagsskolan and Akalla Grundskola.

There are three nature reserves around Akalla.

Akalla is on the blue line of the metro system.

Most of Akalla voted for the Social democratic party.

The footballer Robin Quaison and the rapper Dree Low come from Akalla.
