Altdorf bei Nürnberg (/ˈɑːltdɔːrf/,[source?] German: [ˈʔaltdɔʁf baɪ ˈnʏʁnbɛʁk] (listen)) is a town in south-eastern Germany. It is 25 km east of Nuremberg, in Nürnberger Land. Its name literally means “Altdorf near Nuremberg”, to differentiate it from other Altdorfs.
