Asbestosis

pneumoconiosis caused by inhalation and retention of asbestos fibers

Asbestosis is a disease of the lungs caused by breathing small asbestos fibers. It is an occupational disease. Asbestos could affect people up to 40 years after breathing a lot of asbestos.

It is not to be confused with mesothelioma, a cancer of the lungs also caused by breathing asbestos fibers. Asbestosis made many lawsuits, so many lawyers spend a lot of time with asbestosis and mesothelioma.
