Frank Brian
American basketball player (1923-2017)
Frank Sands Brian (May 1, 1923 – May 14, 2017) was an American professional basketball player. He was born in Zachary, Louisiana. Brian signed with the Anderson Packers of the National Basketball League in 1947. In 1949 the NBL and BAA merged to form the NBA. He scored 2,442 points in three seasons with the Packers, then joined the Chicago Stags of the NBA.
Brain died from complications of Alzheimer's disease at his home in Zachary, Louisiana on May 14, 2017 at the age of 94.[1]
