Geoff Johns (born January 25, 1973 in Detroit, Michigan)[1] is an American comic book and television writer, movie producer, and television producer. He is the president and Chief Creative Officer at DC Comics since 2010.

His most notable work in different media has used the DC Comics characters Green Lantern, Aquaman, The Flash, and Superman. He is known for his work on The WB/The CW's Smallville, Arrow and The Flash.

Johns is also a comic book retailer[2] who co-owns Earth-2 Comics in Northridge, California with Carr D'Angelo and Jud Meyers.[3]

In 2016, Johns was made the co-runner of the DC Extended Universe, and co-chairman of DC Films in order to create a unified vision and overarching story for the franchise.
