Hancock County, Mississippi

Hancock County is a county found in the U.S. state of Mississippi. As of the 2020 census, 46,053 people lived there.[1] Its county seat is Bay St. Louis.[2] The county was created in 1812. It is named for Founding Father John Hancock.[3]

The county is along the Gulf of Mexico and the state line with Louisiana.
