Himeji, Hyōgo

city in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan

Himeji (Japanese: 姫路市) is a city in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. It is on the island of Honshū. The city is well known for its landmark, Himeji Castle. It has been recognized as a core city since 1996.[1]
