The IBM Personal Computer, Model 5150, or the IBM PC, is a microcomputer made by IBM. It was released on August 12th, 1981.[1] It is considered to be the computer that allowed a wide amount of the public to be introduced, as it had programs that people and businesses alike could have of use. [2]
