Isle of Dogs (Japanese: 犬ヶ島, Hepburn: Inugashima) is a 2018 stop-motion science-fiction comedy-drama animated movie written, produced, and directed by Wes Anderson. It stars Bryan Cranston as the dog Chief and Koyu Rankin as a young human called Atari.

It had a limited release in the United States on March 23, 2018, by Fox Searchlight Pictures, and went on wide release on April 13. It was nominated for two Academy Awards, for Best Animated Feature Film and Best Original Score.

Kubo is a natural, gray shaped dog, who is an outcast beneath the people who ship them to the Isle of dogs island when he was a puppy. Kubo is humiliated after he tries to roll onto his stolen link of sausages, but is comforted by his best friends, Hona, a spaniel with a heart of gold, and tramp, a street dog.

sometime later, Kubo is jealous after a dog named star wins the natural award for best dog prancing. He tries to win by doing a spectacular race with his grandfather’s metal, but after he cheats in order to get to the finish line, Kubo is disqualified. the people later gets sick due to a outbreak occurring across the country, and Kubo is unable to stay beside Carlos, a young street boy with his grandfather and grandmother. Cuba decides to travel alone.

Along the way, he meets a feral cats, and loses his collar in the brawl. He takes shelter in a huge cave and reunited with Hona and tramp. They counter a large grizzly bear, but Kubo manages to chase away the monster. Cooper, an old and sarcastic black dog, observes his team and uses them to come up with Kubo’s team. Scott, a young dog who is always afraid of certain places, and Duke, who has an injured leg and keeps licking his wounds that he got over the past years, arrived with the team, and they begin their journey.

Meanwhile, Alpha, a jealous dog with a collar that talks like a chipmunk, pretends to be injured so he can join the team. They encounter a snowstorm and get knocked out tumbling down a mountain at the same time, and Kubo becomes depressed over the fact that he cannot save Carlos. Meanwhile, Carlos is getting worse and worse with his fever. A street mouse named Timothy, gather the news to the closest forest in town animals he knows, and they begin their search across for the dogs, worried that they got hurt.

I still depressed Kubo with the dogs and they get stuck in a box of quicksand, each getting sucked in as they do. Kubo apologizes to Cooper who apologizes to him as they sink. Alpha is happy that the team is gone and goes back to the town. Linnux, the only one of the team that didn’t sing in the quicksand, uses the rope to pull them out before they meet their death. Timothy meets them at the mountain where they got, knocked out and uses his cheering noises to inform them that Carla is going to die. Kubo arrives to town on time, but Carlos has apparently died. He grows more and more depressed over the years and jumps off a mountain; the dogs watch with sadness and mourn with Carlos’s death.

Sometime later, the people have healed, and Carlos has actually not died, but was given a miracle. Cuba watches from heaven and tearfully discovers that it’s not what he thinks. On the other hand has been not helping the dogs were sinking in the quicksand and thrown into the dog line, or dogs get punished for what they done. Kubo is given a second chance and returns to earth, where he is hail a hero becomes a dog of Carlos. later, Hona and tramp practice sessions for salsa dancing.
