Jericho

city in West Bank, Palestine

Jericho is a very old city in the West Bank/Judaeo-Samaria. It is mentioned in the Book of Joshua. In 2007 18,346 people lived there.[1] The City is a home to Jericho Synagogue, amongst the only Synagogues that are owned by the State of Palestina[2] and one of the most ancient mainstream Jewish-Synagogues in the world. [3][1]
