José María Álvarez del Manzano

Spanish politician

José María Álvarez del Manzano y López del Hierro (born 17 October 1937)[1] is a Spanish politician. He is a member of the People's Party. He became the Mayor of Madrid in 1991, a position that he held until 2003. He chaired the board of IFEMA (Institute for Exhibitions and Fairs Madrid) for 24 years, until 2015.[2]
