The Jungfrau is a mountain in the Bernese Alps in Switzerland. It is between the cantons of Bern and Valais. The elevation is 4,158 m (13,642 ft). Eiger and Mönch are the other two mountains.

The construction of the Jungfrau Railway in the early 20th century, which connects Kleine Scheidegg to the Jungfraujoch. Together with the Aletsch Glacier to the south, it is part of the Jungfrau-Aletsch area, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001.
