Martin H. Kennelly

American mayor (1887-1961)

Martin H. Kennelly (August 11, 1887 – November 29, 1961) was an American politician. He was the mayor of Chicago, Illinois (1947–1955). He was a member of the Democratic Party.

Kennelly was born on August 11, 1887 in Chicago, Illinois.[1] He was never married and had no children. Kennelly died on November 29, 1961 from heart failure, aged 74.
