Mauritanian politician (1936–2012)

Col. Mustafa Ould Salek (Arabic: المصطفى ولد محمد السالك; ‎ 1936 – 18 December 2012) was the President of Mauritania from 1978 through 1979.[1]

He was an army officer. He led an army coup d'état in 1978 against the president at that time, Moktar Ould Daddah.[2]
