The screenplay is based on The Life and Adventures of Nicholas Nickleby by Charles Dickens. Charlie Hunnam stars as the main character with Nathan Lane, Jim Broadbent, Christopher Plummer, Jamie Bell, Anne Hathaway, Alan Cumming, and Timothy Spall.
