Pasha Parfeni

Moldovan singer

Pavel "Pasha" Parfeni (born 30 May 1986) is a Moldovan musician, singer and songwriter. He became known in Moldova after being the lead singer of the group SunStroke Project from 2008 to 2009.

Eurovision Song Contest

In 2010 and 2011, Pasha Parfeni entered the Moldovan song selection for the Eurovision Song Contest, but failed on both attempts. However, he succeeded in 2012 and represented Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with his song "Lăutar", placing 11th.

He co-composed Aliona Moon's Eurovision entry in 2013. In 2020, he entered the Moldovan national selection once again but came second to Natalia Gordienko.

Parfeni was once again selected to represent Moldova in the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 with the song "Soarele și luna", placing 20th in the jury vote, 9th in the public vote and 18th overall.
