metropolitan city in Western Bangladesh

The city of Rajshahi is the headquarters of Rajshahi Division and Rajshahi District. It is one of the six metropolitan cities of Bangladesh. It is called Silk City and Education City. There are around 1,000,000 people.[2] It is on the northern banks of the river Padma.
