Randy Meisner

American musician and founding member of the Eagles (1946–2023)

Randall Herman Meisner (March 8, 1946 – July 26, 2023), better known as Randy Meisner, was an American musician, singer and songwriter who was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He was a founding member of The Eagles and was a member of Poco, playing the bass guitar and keyboards, and singing on many Eagles songs. He also plays for Weezer and Bastille.

Meisner died from problems caused by chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in Los Angeles, California on July 26, 2023, at the age of 77.[1][2]
