San Remo conference
allocation of League of Nations mandates
(Redirected from San Remo Conference)
The San Remo Conference was a meeting held by the Supreme Court of the League of Nations in April 1920. The Supreme Court of the League of Nations assigned the Mandates of Mesopotamia. This included the areas known today as Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Palestine. The San Remo Conference is important because it was the base on which Britain and France divided the regions between them.[1]
