Social Democratic Union of Macedonia

The Social Democratic Union of Macedonia (Macedonian: Социјалдемократски сојуз на Македонија, Socijaldemokratski sojuz na Makedonija, SDSM) is a political party in North Macedonia. Its politics are centre-left.

It was founded in 1990 and was the first political party in Macedonia. Its President was Slavko Milosavlevski. It ran in the 1990 Macedonian parliamentary election when Macedonia was still a part of Yugoslavia. It did not win a seat in the 1990 election, scoring 1.6 percent of the vote.

It also took part in elections in 1994, 2002, 2006, 2008, 2011, and 2014, but did not win a seat.
