I'm wondering whether or not this is helpful for readers. It is Simple English Wikipedia, so an informal tone could be useful, but it also doesn't sound like something that belongs in an encyclopedia.

Saturn is a squashed sphere. This means that it is flattened at the poles and wider around the equator. In other words, Saturn is FAT!
