Teri Garr
American actress (1944–2024)
Terry Ann "Teri" Garr (December 11, 1944 – October 29, 2024) was an American movie and television actress. Her movie debut was the 1963 movie A Swingin' Affair. Her career breakthrough was in 1974 with the movie Young Frankenstein. Garr has acted in many other movies. She has been acting on TV since the late 1960s. She appeared on Star Trek: The Original Series. Garr was born in Los Angeles, California and was raised in Lakewood, Ohio.[1]
In 1983 she was nominated for "Best Supporting Actress" in Tootsie.
Personal life
changeIn October 2002, Garr said that she was battling multiple sclerosis.[2]
Garr died from problems caused by multiple sclerosis at her home in Los Angeles on October 29, 2024, at the age of 79.[3]
