The Catered Affair is a 1956 American romantic comedy-drama movie directed by Richard Brooks and was based on the 1955 play of the same name by Paddy Chayefsky. It stars Bette Davis, Ernest Borgnine, Debbie Reynolds, Barry Fitzgerald, Rod Taylor, Robert F. Simon and was distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
