The Machine Girl (Kataude Mashin Gāru, "One-armed Machine Girl") is a 2008 Japanese action-horror-comedy film. It was written and directed by Noboru Iguchi and stars Minase Yashiro, Asami, Kentarō Shimazu, and Honoka. The story follows a Japanese schoolgirl who loses her brother to a Ninja-Yakuza clan. After her hand is severed, she replaces it with a machine gun and seeks revenge.

Special effects were created by Yoshihiro Nishimura, who later directed Tokyo Gore Police. The movie premiered at the Yubari International Fantastic Film Festival in March 2008. It was released in theatres in the United States on May 23, 2008, came out on DVD on June 3, 2008, and was released in Japan on August 2, 2008.[1][2]
