United States' official memorial to the Holocaust in Washington, D.C.

The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM) is the United States' official memorial to the Holocaust. It is near the National Mall in Washington, D.C.. It helps show documentation, studies, and interpretation of Holocaust history. It is dedicated to helping leaders and citizens of the world push against hatred, to stop future genocides and support democracy.[2]
