Urology

subspecialty of surgery

Urology also known as genitourinary surgery, is the branch of medicine that looks at diseases of the urinary system and the reproductive organs. This includes the kidneys, adrenal glands, ureters, urinary bladder, urethra, and the male reproductive organs (testes, epididymis, vas deferens, seminal vesicles, prostate, and penis).

Some problems are managed by surgery and some by drugs.[1]
