Wuthering Heights is a 1939 American romantic period movie directed by William Wyler and is the second adaption of the 1847 novel of the same name by Emily Brontë. It stars Laurence Olivier, Merle Oberon, David Niven, Flora Robinson, Geraldine Fitzgerald, Hugh Williams, Donald Crisp, Leo G. Caroll and was distributed by United Artists. It was nominated for 8 Oscars and won an Academy Award in 1940.[1]
