United Torah Judaism (Hebrew Yahadut HaTorah HaMeuhedet, : יהדות התורה המאוחדת), shorthanded UTJ, is a political party in Israel.
Ideology
changeIts ideology is conservative, and Ashkenazic Haredi Judaism.
UTJ's political leaders[clarification needed] are Ya'akov Litzman (Agudat Yisrael) and Moshe Gafni (Degel HaTorah). Yahadut HaTorah was founded in 1992. It is an alliance of two parties: Agudat Yisrael (Union of Israel, associated with Hasidism) and Degel HaTorah (Banner of the Torah associated with Misnagdim).
