Adam Schiff

American politician (born 1960)

Adam Bennett Schiff (born June 22, 1960) is an American politician. He is the U.S. Representative for California's 28th congressional district. He has served in Congress since 2001. He is a member of the Democratic Party, and is Jewish.

Schiff represented the 27th and 29th Districts between 2001 and 2013, which included the areas of Alhambra, Altadena, San Gabriel, Burbank, Glendale, South Pasadena, Temple City, Monterey Park, and Pasadena.

Schiff has become an influential voice for his party in the House of Representatives on foreign policy and national security issues.[1]

In January 2023, Schiff announced his candidacy for the United States Senate in the 2024 election.[2]
