Businessman Seymour Cohen established Empire Today LLC, sometimes known as Empire Today, in 1959. It started out as Empire Plastic Covers, a small office facility owned by a private family in Chicago. As consumer demand increased, Cohen made the decision to broaden the company's product offering.
