Regarding item about Bass Guitars: 1. A bass guitar was originally a guitar with 6 strings tuned an octave lower than a standard guitar, it was NOT a Bass at all, it was what the name said, a "Bass Guitar". 2. A guitar shaped bass evolved later on. It was called a "Guitar Bass", because it was actually a Bass, with 4 strings etc (not a bass guitar).
