Vanished user editing

Hi DJSasso, Hope you're well,

In 2015 you had renamed Kennedy to VanishedUser sdu9aya9f213ws per their vanish request, They're now editing articles again so didn't know if they should be renamed back?

Unfortunately Crats can't rename anymore, they would have to go to meta to be renamed. If you are to continue editing Kennedy maybe head to meta and ask for a rename back or let me know and I can make the request for you. -Djsasso (talk) 11:56, 25 March 2024 (UTC)

Just wondering since I have come across this. Does a vanished user who wants to be renamed have to be renamed in the format VanishedUser (letters)? Or is this computer generated? --Tsugaru let's talk! :) 02:12, 19 July 2024 (UTC)

@つがる It used to be that vanishing was done manually by renamers and from what I know the disambiguators need to be put in manually, but now there is a bot that can perform automatic vanishing (Special:Contributions/Special:Contributions/AccountVanishRequests) and it looks like the disambiguator is now taken from some sort of hash. — *Fehufangą ♮ ✉ Talk page 04:02, 19 July 2024 (UTC)

On the first part you removed, I wasn't sure if we would move over the not to be confused with template. We only had one article in blue on that particular template, so that is why I left it so in the future it would still link if we brought it over. I am not sure how many articles need to be created for the navbox to come over? For the categories, I tend to stay away from them and they are done by the two main people who do the cats, almost usually MathXplore who does it for me. category redirects

Hi! I'm looking to do some category moves per Wikipedia:Simple talk/Archive 157#Category move discussion, but there's a lot more pages than I gave credit for that need moving. Your bot is currently listed at WP:BOT as handling category moves, but hasn't edited in over a year.
