Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 is one of the vital chemical compounds which are got from foodstuffs. It is a group of chemically similar compounds which can be converted from one to another in the body. The vitamin B6 group are essential to over 100 enzymes. The enzymes are mostly involved in protein metabolism.
Vitamin B6 is part of the vitamin B group. Its active form serves as a coenzyme in some 100 enzyme reactions in amino acid, glucose, and lipid metabolism.[1]
The active form of B6 helps to increase or decrease the expression of certain genes.
