Money in the Bank (2011) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view show made by WWE. It took place on July 17, 2011 at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. It was the second Money in the Bank event held by WWE.

The main event, which saw CM Punk defeat John Cena to win his first WWE Championship, received a rare 5-star rating from Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.[1] Punk left WWE with the title at the end of the show, but returned eight days later on Raw.[2]
