Some cookies to welcome you!

Hello DovahFRD! I'm Desertborn and an active editor here. Thank you for your changes. I just wanted to stop by and welcome you to Wikipedia!

As you make changes around here, you might have questions. I know I sure did when I started. When you do, please feel free to ask them on Wikipedia:Simple talk. We also have a nice guide to help you get started, with a good amount of helpful information. It's called Wikipedia:Simple start. You can also check out what I use when working here.

Oh, and one last thing. You can leave messages on pages like this, which we call talk pages. Each user has one, and each other page does too. When you leave a message, we ask that you sign your messages. You can do this by using four tildes (~~~~); that will automatically add your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Desertborn (talk) 16:19, 16 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

References on Russian city articles

For future reference for me, how do you fix those ref errors on the articles about Russian cities? Thanks. InfernoGaming46 (IG46) (talk / changes) 04:01, 31 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Interested in Japanese metal artist Rie a.k.a Suzaku?

change

Good morning! First, thank you for your engagement with the RfD for Susil Nelson-Kongoi. I appreciate your perspective.

When I looked at your profile I discovered that you like writing about metal, which made me think of Rie a.k.a Suzaku (γƒͺエ エー・ケー・エー γ‚Ήγ‚Άγ‚―), a metal artist from Japan that one of my students chose to write about. Because my student does not speak Japanese her work was somewhat curtailed. I am going to work with some Japanese-language sources, but I wonder if you have any interest in working on her page from your perspective of being more expert in working on metal-related topics?

I am hoping to remove the class template protecting the page shortly.

Thank you, Castilibrary2 (talk) 19:33, 14 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hey - I would love to help with the article! Always enjoy working on metal-related pages, but I don't want to do it in a way that would be intrusive to the work of your student/s. I can go into retrieving more sources & expanding the page, but please advise on how I could do it best. Thanks - 🀘🀘 DovahFRD (talk) 01:57, 15 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

Megadeth?

change

You like Megadeth? Eh, Whats you're favorite album? 67.140.240.139 (talk) 03:31, 25 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

I don't have much of a favorite album. If I had to answer, I would say it's a tie between Rust in Peace and Killing is my Business. 🀘🀘 DovahFRD (talk) 03:35, 25 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

GA VGA has changed

change

Hi, you commented on or edited one or more articles that are up for GA VGA review. The system now requires !votes within a shorter period of time, which has already elapsed, but seems there is a bit of a grace period. Without at least five editors voting (up or down), no articles can be promoted. Please have a look here [1]. Thank you, Gotanda (talk) 00:12, 11 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for letting me know! I saw the thread, but I'll get to voting on a few more nominations. 🀘🀘 DovahFRD (talk) 00:42, 11 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Red Hot Chili Peppers

change

Hi DovahFRD! Good work adding to Red Hot Chili Peppers. I noticed that it says in the intro that they have released eleven studio albums. It seems that they have actually released thirteen, which matches with what you added to the body of the article. Wikipedia:Very good articles/Red Hot Chili Peppers says they released nine, and is also slightly out of date. That selection is what appears on the front page, so it would probably be best if it were the same as the article. Do you think you could look at these when you have time? Thanks! Lights and freedom (talk) 19:03, 23 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for catching that! Didn't notice it when I was updating the page, and I never look at the main page blurbs very much. Updated both of them to match what is up to date. 🀘🀘 DovahFRD (talk) 21:55, 23 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Blox fruits

change

So, this is a game centered around the anime One Piece. It's on Roblox. A blox fruit is basically a devil fruit. - Angerxiety! 18:28, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for explaining that to me! I still do not think it is notable, though, because it is an item from a Roblox game (with no sourcing). Besides, it is also copied right from Fandom. 🀘🀘 DovahFRD (talk) 18:32, 25 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Fred Rogers VGA

change

Hi, the process has stalled again. Promote or demote, either way, may I ask you to take a moment and vote on it. Since you helped by editing it recently, you may be able to give an opinon and help keep the process moving. More than this individual article, I think it would help the wiki if we could make this process work more smoothly. Thank you very much for your time and attention. --Gotanda (talk) 04:54, 7 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Of course! Sorry for not giving an opinion on the page after putting work into it - I have been busy. I will look at the page again, and vote once I finish that. Thanks - 🀘🀘 DovahFRD (talk) 16:21, 7 June 2023 (UTC)Reply

Also there's no red links, very good grammar, good format, and good sources. Would you promote or not promote to 1867 Manhattan, Kansas earthquake in proposed good articles?
